The folks at Chevrolet have just released the latest in a series of videos designed to stir up anticipation of the next-gen Corvette by highlighting the history of the Corvette brand. This latest video, titled “A Timeless Car” begins with the 1953 Corvette and pours a little heart and soul from each generation into just a few flashes of screen time.

Of course, we don’t need heart-pumping riffs and adrenaline-dipped scenes to get us excited about the next-gen Corvette, but we’ll take it! Let’s face it, who doesn’t enjoy seeing Corvettes of all ages tearing up the streets and doing exactly what their creator envisioned them doing?

We know what kind of time-suck online videos can be, but for only 15 seconds of your day, you can get a nice power-shot of Corvette goodness to get you through your day. Plus, the Chevrolet site that houses the video is also dedicated specifically to the up-coming mid-engine Corvette. You won’t be diverted by any videos of kittens or unsupervised youth with fireworks, but you may find yourself marking off the days and hours until the camo comes off of the car at the anticipated reveal.

That’s okay though, because focusing on something as important as the worst-kept secret in GM’s history is MUCH more important. Feel free to take 15 seconds and enjoy the video, we won’t tell your boss!
