Back in the 1980s, there was one show called "Stingray." It was about a man, simply known as Ray, who acted as a sort of private eye helping people along the way, offering the services of himself and his '65 Corvette to help solve crimes and take out the bad guys. And like many things from the 80s, it was awful.
