The automotive world is ready to get back to summer celebrations and there is no better way to kick things off than a great car show. Doing their part to get the automotive world back to normal, the National Street Rod Association (NSRA) is pleased to announce the dates for the Street Rod Nationals East coming to the York Expo Center in York, Pennsylvania. This premier automotive event will be held on June 4, 5, 6, 2021. The participants and visitors to the York Expo Center will be part of the largest automotive participation event in this area.

This year marks the 40th time the NSRA has chosen York as their host city for this event. Vehicles will be driven from all parts of the United States to make this a truly unique gathering of vintage automobiles featuring nearly every make, model and style. In addition to street rods, this event includes all vehicles from the ’50s, 60’s, 70’s and through 1989, adding to the automotive excitement created by the past events.

Show Features

Spectators will be treated to the sights and sounds of some of the best constructed, most beautiful vintage automobiles ever to gather in one place. Visitors can expect to see over 3,000 street rods, muscle cars, custom cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles from all over the eastern United States. All of the manufactured vehicles on display will be 30 years and older.

In addition to lots of chrome, beautiful paint, and luxurious interiors, these cars have modern chassis features added such as state of the art suspensions, four-wheel disc brakes, along with comfort features like air conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering, exotic stereos, and much, much more. An action-packed weekend with a truly unique blend of rods, customs, muscle cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles offering something for everyone. Plus, every vehicle entering the event will be eligible for any and all awards and giveaways presented during the weekend.

A variety of vehicles in attendance ranging in value from $8,000 to $150,000 each with an average of $35,000 per vehicle. A rough estimate of the total value of cars and trucks in attendance at the show will have a worth of over $840 million dollars.

Special Features

This event will include manufacturer displays representing leading automotive specialty and aftermarket suppliers, as well as a “Women’s World” area with arts and crafts. A vintage car parts “swap meet” adds to the experience and helps the enthusiast find these “one of a kind” parts.

The 2021 Street Rod Nationals East is proud to once again host a special Pinstripe Jamboree & Charity Auction, whereas pinstriping, airbrushing, and hand lettering artists from all around the United States, will combine forces to raise the largest amount of money possible for Make-A-Wish. A piece of hand-created art can be yours, with all proceeds going to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Autocross And More

This year the NSRA will offer the Streetkhana Autocross during the event. The Streetkhana course will be open on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, June 6^th, a “Circle of Winners” will be featured on the grounds, with the award-winning street rods of the 47^th Annual Street Rod Nationals East on display. The awards ceremony will be at the outdoor grandstand. Awards start at 1:00 PM. 

On display with a couple of his Funny Cars, will be Bruce Larson the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame Driver in 2006. Free manufacture seminars will broaden your knowledge on a variety of subjects and the latest in street rod applications. A display of vintage racecars, a model car contest, and a display of Peddle cars will also be a special feature at the show.

All activities are open to the public. Gate Hours for the show are:

• Friday and Saturday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sunday 8:00 AM – 12 PM.
• Admission prices are $19.00 per adult, $6.00 per child (6-12 years), and children
• Five years and under free when accompanied by an adult.

Discount tickets available for:

• Senior citizens (60 years & older) with proper ID.)
• Military personnel with proper ID.
• NSRA members with current membership card.
