If you are reading this, you undoubtedly love your car. However, how deep is the love for your car? Would you let your buddy drive your precious ride? How about someone you just met? Odds are nothing will happen, but there’s always a chance the odds will be against you. That was definitely the case for the owner of this 1965 Mustang.

We rarely allow anyone to drive our Mustangs and when we do it makes us super nervous. We don’t even like parking our cars in crowded parking lots. If the owner of this car shares our phobias, he must have been beside himself.

As you can see in the video above, a driver from a transportation company got a little to happy with the gas pedal, spun the tires on the ramps and got the car sideways as it headed onto the trailer. That’s when the bad things happened as the classic Mustang clashed with the trailer.

You actually hear an onlooker say, “Whoa,” as the driver attempts to keep moving forward in spite of the mishap.

According to the video poster, Gregory Blaisdell, the driver thought he could get away with it. “The driver actually said, ‘Do you have any paint back there?’ assuming I wouldn’t notice when it was delivered.”

Sometimes it’s fun to watch other people’s misfortunes, but seeing this tragedy unfold actually hurt our hearts. Witnessing someone’s pride and joy senselessly wrecked instantly put us in the owner’s shoes.

Gregory estimates the damage was at least $12,000, but can you really put a price on someone wrecking your car while you watch?
