Video: A Sweet 1959 Chevy Pickup That Makes Green Look Good

Once again, ” target=”_blank”>Scottie D has spotted a beast of a build that pulls off the impossible. Drenched in a two-tone green paint, this 1959 Chevrolet pickup truck had heads turning at the 2015 Pigeon Forge Rod Run in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

With so many cars on display, it was this ’59 Chevy pickup that stood out not only for its odd color, but its clean design aesthetics. The two-tone green paint is nicely accented with a silver leaf trim and meticulous, detailed pinstriping.

As Scottie D put it, it truly is hard to make green look good on any automobile. It is clearly the exception here as this truck has all the makings of greatness, all wrapped into a single package.

The green is all good on this classic yet custom Chevy pickup.

In great detail, even the truck bed includes the pinstriping and silver leaf trim found on the outside of the truck. Surprisingly, even the wood in the truck bed is the original wood. The staggered set of wheels add visual depth to the already captivating build.

Moving inside, the interior of the truck is as detailed and immaculate as its exterior counterpart. The dash has a clean and lustrous green finish, which even includes a level. The two-tone interior is also fitted with a plush bench seat that includes a center speaker built into the seat.

Under the hood, the green continues all around the engine bay, combined with several chrome components. The hood even has custom moulding that replicates the shape of the motor that is tucked beneath it.

What do you think of this build? Would you have done it any different? Feel free to share your thoughts below.
