Mustang and drifting enthusiasts alike are well aware who Vaughn Gittin Jr is; just as enthusiasts know who SCT Performance is. But what they might not know is that the two have recently teamed up to tackle the tuning needs of Gittin Jr’s 900 rear-wheel horsepower S550 Mustang drift car; powered by a modified 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine and tuned by SCT’s Livewire TS+ device.

I am pumped to team up with the awesome crew at SCT and have them involved in our many programs!” For this year, Gittin Jr’s team upgraded their demo RTR 5.0 Mustang which now boasts 900 horsepower at the rear wheels. Upgrades such as a supercharged Ford Performance Coyote engine and a Magnaflow exhaust system provide Gittin Jr’s RTR Mustang with an amazing, high-revving soundtrack. While the SCT tuning performed by Revolution Automotive using the above mentioned Livewire TS+ devices allows the Gittin Jr’s RTR Mustang to make the maximum amount of power possible.

The 2016 Formula Drift season has already commenced this month, but that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on the action.
