As Corvette guys (and gals), one of our favorite aspects about the Corvette world are the incredible racing programs that have spanned the car’s lifetime. Aside from it’s unearthly beauty and unparalleled driving experience, the Corvette’s legend and heritage is built on its competitive success.

The National Corvette Museum recently announced a new exhibit they have in the works to celebrate this success. The Museum encompasses all things ‘Vette – from noteworthy cars to influential people; it is the metaphorical Mecca of the Corvette community. Soon, it will be receiving a Corvette Racing addition to it’s plethora of exhibits and attractions.

Their previous addition was that of the “Corvette Cave-in” exhibit commemorating the sink-hole catastrophe, which opened on the 12th of February earlier this year (on the two-year anniversary of the event). This time, however, the museum’s incoming exhibit is celebrating something a bit more pleasant than the destruction of several Corvettes. Instead, this new attraction will feature an immersive tribute to the Corvette in all its forms of competitive racing, from first- to latest-generation.

With the help of Springtree Media Group, a professional sound and lighting company, the Museum will be able to present enthusiasts with a state-of-the-art film documenting some of the history of Corvette Racing, all accompanied with an engaging audio experience and atmospheric lighting.

There’s no word yet as to when the exhibit will open, but from what we’re shown in the above video, it looks to be a venerating and all-around inspiring look at the true performance of America’s sports car.
