America is a massive country, and home to some wildly different climates and cultures. It is also home to some of the most beautiful, twisty, and fun driving roads in the entire world. It is just one of the many reasons our nation kicks ass. And while there is surely plenty of room for debate on the subject, California (for all its flaws) is home to a disproportionate number of beautiful, scenic, and entertaining driver’s roads.

One of the more famous is Mulholland Highway outside of Los Angeles, aka “The Snake.” We found this video on the YouTube of a Ford Mustang tackling The Snake with a side-mounted GoPro camera. It’s five very entertaining minutes of Mustang corner carving.

Running through the Santa Monica mountains, Mulholland Drive is well known to driving enthusiasts in the Greater Los Angeles area. Got some time to burn, and a fast car to drive? Head to Mulholland. As you can see in the video, there are plenty of pull offs, and lots of other drivers with the same idea as the driver of this Mustang.

Which leaves us wondering…just what kind of Mustang is this? It’s hard to gauge just from the sound or the wheels (wheel swaps are easy, and popular.) If we had to guess, we’d wager that this was a 2005-2009 Mustang GT. But what do you think? Are we just hearing things? Let us know in the comments.
