When the 72nd annual Turkey Night Grand Prix returned to the dirt at Perris Auto Speedway, our friends at Loudpedal Productions were there to follow around Jason Leffler during the weekend. They and the rest of the racing world, were shocked to learn that we lost Leffler to a horrific crash at Bridgeport Speedway.

Mike and the folks at Loud Pedal were extremely grateful to be able to spend the weekend with Leffler: Loudpedal was fortunate enough to follow Jason Leffler during the 72nd running of the Turkey Night Grand Prix at Perris Auto Speedway in November 2012. Godspeed Jason, you will be missed tremendously.

Leffler would start fourth in the Turkey Night Grand Prix and would use the high side to lead laps 2-8 until he would start to fade. He eventually would pull of the track with tire issues and finish a disappointing 32nd.

Our heart goes out to the entire Leffler family, it’s hard to hold back the tears while watching this video. His love for our sport of dirt track racing was always evident and he will be extremely missed.
