This year, Corvette Racing conquered the longest-running endurance test in sportscar racing with a GTE class win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. While the real excitement centers around the race itself, there is much more to the annual event in Le Mans, France than teams competing against one another on the 8.5-mile track. Thanks to a video we recently came across on , you can now take a look at what else goes on at Le Mans without updating your passport, with none other than Ron Fellows as your guide.

As a past Corvette Racing driver and 2-time Le Mans winner, there is no one better than Ron Fellows to take you on a tour of the iconic race. With a little bit of background, Fellows starts off the tour at the track at the center of the annual event. Before any racing begins, the Le Mans weekend is kicked off with an autograph session with the drivers and fans. According to Corvette Racing driver Oliver Gavin, Corvette Racing usually has the most fans at the Le Mans race and they prove to be the most passionate of the race enthusiasts.

Included in that fan base are enthusiasts from all over the world, including thousands of Dutch and Danish fans. As a tradition at Le Mans, fans camp out in campgrounds dedicated to each country right at the track, making Le Mans a huge party every year.

Le Mans wouldn’t be the same without the annual Drivers’ Parade. Hosted in downtown Le Mans, all the drivers from competing teams pass down the main streets in front of thousands of fans in celebration of the passion for the race. Complete with dancers, marching bands and vintage cars, the annual parade is as much of a spectacle as the actual 24 Hours of Le Mans.
