Though Americans and Europeans share a lot of common ancestry and values, when it comes to cars our two continents couldn’t be more different. For example, an overwhelming majority of new cars purchased in America have automatic transmissions, while in Europe half of new cars purchased still come with the tried-and-true manual. But America has access to a cornucopia of classic cars like the Ford Mustang that many Europeans would give a finger or two to own.

But that doesn’t mean Mustangs don’t exist in Europe, and there are some truly breathtaking backdrops that lets the Old World really shine when it comes to American muscle. Just check out this video from a new Mustang specialty shop, Mustangs4You, that recently opened up in Hungary, and try to convince yourself these Europeans don’t appreciate classic horsepower.

This video claims that the Eleanor-replica Mustang that stars in this slickly-produced video is the first one built on European soil. While we have no way to verify that claim, Eleanor is definitely one of the more popular recent incarnations of the class Ford Mustang. It takes a lot of money to import and build a Mustang like this in the old world though, and filling it up with gasoline costs more than many of us make in a day.

But it is worth every penny to see this classic Mustang crushing past all those tiny toy cars the Europeans make due with. And thanks to a 150 shot of nitrous and a 700 horsepower aluminum-block 427 V8, this classic Eleanor can hang with the fastest car Europe has to offer. Still, we’d rather see Eleanor back at home on American soil any day.
