Let’s talk about custom car builds today. The families of these servicemembers often make huge sacrifices as well. These men and women put their builds on hold while fighting for our freedom overseas, often completing multiple successful deployments that allow we enthusiasts the freedom to design and build the vehicle of our dreams.

Unfortunately, there is also the harsh reality that many of these military car enthusiasts will never get the chance to continue working on their dream build because they have paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.

As military veterans and car guys, many have witnessed both. While serving overseas, military members often share stories about what new or existing project vehicle they would like to start (or complete!) when they finally get back home. In the video above, a proud father of an American service member who is serving in Iraq takes delivery of his son’s brand-new, 763-horsepower Roush Sleeper Mustang. Town and Country Ford in Birmington Alabama, custom-built the 2016 Deep Impact Blue Mustang GT, and according to the dealer’s YouTube channel, is one of the nicest Sleeper Mustangs it has ever created.

The Town and Country Sleeper Mustang Program was started back in 2010 and featured dealer-installed Roush Performance products for enthusiasts that want to order a high-quality supercharged Mustang without having to jump all the way up to a full vehicle package.

The Stage 1 Kit, produces 670 horsepower and comes with a full three-year, 36,000-mile powertrain warranty from Roush Performance! The price? Town and Country offer the base Stage 1 Sleeper Mustang kit for $39,995. The dealership also has additional upgrade options that you can order, such as aftermarket exhaust, wheels, and exterior goodies that will, of course, add to the overall price.

This particular Sleeper build began with the 2016 GT Premium Package and features some official Ford Performance Parts upgrades, including lowering springs, exhaust, and short-throw shifter.

Under the hood, Town and Country installed the above mentioned Roush Phase I supercharger kit, which after putting this particular vehicle on the dyno, put out the aforementioned 763 ponies!

This Sleeper also wears a SPEC Stage 2+ clutch, which is more than capable of handling the increase in horsepower and torque.
