At the Comp Performance Group they are car geeks just like us, and living in Memphis, they are also music people, too. To the people at the Comp Performance Group, music and cars go together like, well, like crusin’ and the road. So the company marketing department got together and decided to come up with a list of its Top 3 Favorite Car Songs. The problem was almost nobody there could pick just three, and many of the guys and gals came up with lists that numbered as many as 20. We hear there were some lively conversations trying to whittle it down to just three, but none-the-less, they have presented more than 20 car-related music videos.

As it turned out, The Beach Boys were at the top of most people’s list, but the favorite car featured in a song was the Cadillac. Plenty of hits were on the lists, but there was also a bit of metal, hair and funk. It seems that songs about cars cover the entire musical spectrum.
