It is a rarity that I come in contact with people from Canada but that is the power of the internet. A few days ago, we were tagged in a video from a gentleman named Christian Morin-Rivard. Rivard’s video showcased him practicing his best John Force impression with a burnout as far as the eye could see. Although that was awesome, one very different part was the beginning where fire was spitting out of the exhaust.

In an attempt to do something cool, Rivard wired up his truck to enable what resembles a two-step like you would hear on a race car. With that being said, the results of this were smoke, loud popping, and even fire as you saw in the video.

The custom Firepunk Diesel tuning and his custom launch control switch are cool parts of this truck but there is more to this truck than that. In fact, Rivard has a whole list of things under the hood. For fuel, the Cummins engine is fed with fuel with a FASS 165, 130-percent Industrial Injection injectors, and dual Fleece Performance CP3 pumps.

Atmospheric air comes into a BD Diesel Performance 5-inch intake pipe, and directly into an S472/87/1.10 turbocharger. This hangs off a Steed Speed Second-Gen exhaust manifold where the exhaust flows directly out of a Flo-Pro Performance exhaust system. Handling all of this RPM with ease, Rivard relies on a set of 110-pound valve springs and Hamilton Cams pushrods.
