While there are some cars and trucks that are not so easy to work on, there are those that are just plain simple and can have major components replaced in a matter of hours. But wouldn’t it be nice if there were a lot more cars and trucks that only required a few minutes to repair? These sort of things seem as far away today as they did decades ago, because cars and trucks are becoming so much more complicated than ever.
Many early model cars and trucks, especially those from the 1950s are amazingly simple. But can you imagine tearing down one right to the frame and then piecing it all back together again in just slightly longer than three minutes. You are probably thinking, “No way!”
However, that is just what the Jiffy Jeep Team does and did in this “>video recorded by the guys at BDS. So who are the Jiffy Jeep Team? They are a group of Canadian Army soldiers out of Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Edmonton. CFB Edmonton is currently the headquarters of the 3rd Canadian Division, and an important base of military operations in Canada.
The award-winning Jiffy Jeep team is a 10-person demonstration team that travels around Canada and the world showing off the Canadian Forces’ technical and mechanic skill, by disassembling and reassembling a Jeep in less than four minutes.
