There’s no denying how quickly things happen at the Chili Bowl. One moment you are minding your own business and the next your upside down flying through the air and getting ready for a serious world of hurt.

The beginning of Brad Noffsinger's violent ride at the 2013 Chili Bowl, was just one of the many flips that occur every night of the five-day event.
Our friends at Hoseheads.com captured just how quickly this can happen, and how close the racing gets on the tricky track. Brad Noffsinger appeared to miss a car that had jumped the cushion during the B Feature last night, and almost escaped danger until his right rear caught the fence and sent him into a violent set of flips. Noffsinger walked away without injury, but it still was a very violent ride!
Unfortunately this result on the tight quarter mile in Tulsa happens all to often throughout the week. We’ve seen it happen on multiple occasions already in the 2013 affair. However, the track continues to produce some of the best racing in the country and is the reason so many fans pack the Quicktrip Center every year.
Kevin Swindell, who was the first person ever to win two golden drillers in a row, will look to make it an unheard of four Chili Bowl victories in a row on Saturday.
