Our northern neighbors know how to get down, as this video proves. Beer, diesel smoke, and two lanes of asphalt are all you need for a good time during the Competition de Tir et D’Acceleration de Camions in Saint-Joseph, Quebec, and the crowd is as rowdy as ever when this odd pairing pulls up to the box.

In the left lane, a large red Coga tractor, driven by the famous Nicolas Gagnon; in the right lane, a late-model white Mustang, mistakenly identified as a Saleen. The car clearly has a second-rate body kit put on it but WHO CARES WE’RE HERE TO SEE SOME DRAG RACING YEEEAHH.

There are numerous videos of big rigs such as these, shaming the low-slung likes of Vipers, Camaros, and Corvettes. That tends to happen pretty easily when you’re dealing with a vehicle capable of commanding some 4200 lb.-ft. of torque at 3000 rpm.

Up against a faux Saleen, the situation is still the same. Even coming out of the box, the Coga has a clear lead, despite losing some traction with a little torque lift on the front axle.

A quick final look of the vehicles jetting by the finish line reveals two things: one, that the Coga had a massive lead on the Mustang; and two, that there is a gated cemetery adjacent to the drag strip.

Perhaps the Mustang’s owner headed to his local car cemetery after this humiliation, and started looking into getting his own Mack or Peterbilt rig for some racing revenge.

Needless to say, Gagnon won the race, yet he also managed to set a record time at the track–84.36 mph. Sorry Mustang owners, but you got what you had coming to you. Diesel is for winners!
