Whether you’re into factory classics, souped up rods, or crazy customs, burnouts can take any vehicle from meh to yeah! in one fell swoop. That’s because there’s nothing better than a cool looking ride throwing down some rubber in a smokey show of power. After all, if you can’t use and abuse them at least once in awhile, what’s the point of shoveling your hard-earned cash into them?

While no one quite knows where the first burnout took place, the practice can be traced back to drag racing, where the action of burning out held a purpose.
