Video: 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross Season Recap

Shot mostly from a GoPro point of view, this 2014 season recap video focuses on the contentious 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross season. The eight-minute plus video features highlights from all 10 rounds of last year’s championship, from Ken Block’s wild ride in Barbados to his battle with Joni Wiman for the championship in the Las Vegas finale. The camera angles are wild, showing the 800 horsepower, all-wheel-drive monsters in mid air jumping, using each other’s rear bumpers as part of their braking zones, and heading for nearly disastrous T-bone crashes that are somehow avoided or recovered from. The video shows the overall points standings as the series moves from venue to venue. This gives the viewer an idea who started the season hot and cooled off, who started slow and came on like gang busters late in the campaign, and who were the most steady racers in the series. Which begs the questions… will Ken Block close the deal in 2015? After a promising mid-season debut, will Tanner Foust and Andretti Autosports be contenders in their Volkswagen?
