It’s the time of year where we like to get it poppin’ here. Whether it’s popping bottles or popping new years streamers and toys, we’re all in. But, why not be all in Diesel Army style. So, what better way to get it popping then with a 2wd Duramax showing us how it’s done. When we first came across this video, immediately I thought, ok another sled pulling run. What is special about this one? After all we get so many of them sent to us that are pretty standard. But, this one was different.

The video starts off by showing the Duramax preparing to pull and beginning his run and then it happens. The front two wheels come off the ground and the wheelie begins. Then the rest of the video I found myself chanting, “bounce baby, bounce baby, bounce”. The best part is even with all the popping and the bouncing, the driver keeps it running straight and continues to pull the sled toward the full pull line. The crowd is going wild. Every time those wheels rise off the ground, the crowd begins to cheer. I just kept waiting for the drive to send an arm out the drivers window in support and acknowledging his “badassness”.

Thinking about it, maybe we could create a new sled pulling term here. We’re thinking this could be called “making it jump” or “making it pop”.  What do you think? Is this what you would call it? We’re open to suggestions here!
