Dubai could be argued as the cultural and economic nerve center of the Middle East. This wealthy, and beautiful city is known for it’s extravagance, and for car fans, it’s many exotic cars. The local police force includes exotic police cars from manufacturers such as Bugatti and Lamborghini, as well as a ROUSH Mustang.

Car fans in Dubai, and the rest of the region aren’t interested in only exotic cars. American muscle cars have a huge following in the Middle East, with drag racing, street performance, and drifting all popular there. The Mustang is especially popular, and in many middle eastern countries where taxes are either non existent or laughably low by comparison to other parts of the world, getting your hands on a Mustang is as easy as getting virtually any other type of car.

It seems fitting that with Ford planning to “Go Further” with the new Mustang that they hold a 50th Anniversary celebration for the world’s favorite pony car in Dubai as well. Over 300 Mustangs came out in force to join in the festivities, which included a massive parade/cruise. The parade went around several key locations and points of interest in the city, and was even lead by the Dubai Police Department’s ROUSH Mustang.

The love for our favorite pony car seems to be universal, and this video is really cool to watch so many fans from this part of the world come together and celebrate the Mustang’s birthday. It was also cool that the only event we can think of that might have rivaled this in size was the Charlotte 50th Anniversary Celebration which we covered extensively.
