Look, we’ve all been there, you’re driving home and come to a bridge or road that is under water. That water can be very deceiving because it’s very tough to tell how deep the water really is. But, at what point should you back up your SUV to not get it waterlogged and completely submerged in flood waters?  Weather.com offers Safety Driver Tips that explains that one foot of water will float almost any vehicle. So do you back up after reaching one foot of water? Not this driver. No rather, he jumps the curb and keeps on trucking.

The Safety Driver Tips goes on to explain that two feet of rushing water will sweep away almost any vehicle including SUV’s and pickups. So at this point, do you turn around when two feet of water gathers around your SUV? Not this driver. Do you back up after water crests the hood of the SUV flooding the engine bay? Not this driver!
