Short Course Racer Ryan Beat Unveils 2021 Livery And Team Partners

Ryan Beat has been hard charging in the world of short course off road racing. Always one to watch, Beat has broken through the top level winning back to back Pro Lite Championships in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. In 2020 he shifted his program to build and race a competitive Pro 2 truck. Scoring one win and a string of five other podium finishes, Beat finished 3rd in points for the season.

Through his superb effort, Ryan Beat Motorsports has attracted big corporate partnerships and even garnered attention from Chevrolet Performance. For 2021, this relationship has formalized into a factory support program that puts the famous Chevy “Bow Tie” logo prominently on the bedside and grille. Of course the Pro 2 is wearing a late model Silverado truck body as well.

Ryan Beat recently revealed the #51 all new livery with a stunning video from which can be viewed on Beat’s Facebook and Instagram. We have the special edition behind the scenes video from Bryant Lambert Creative Agency for you to enjoy here.

Known as one of the hardest working individuals in the sport, Ryan Beat has carved out his well earned reputation as one of the only professional off-road racers who can actually make a living racing. The former supercross racers’ 2-wheel career ended after a debilitating injury sent him looking for another motorsport that sourced similar thrills. He found short course and starting from the bottom as an SR1 UTV racer, quickly rose through the ranks.

RYAN BEAT’S SHORT COURSE OFF ROAD RACING CAREER ACCOLADES

  • 2019 Lucas Oil Off Road Pro Lite National Champion
  • 2018 Lucas Oil Off Road Pro Lite National Champion
  • 2018 Lucas Oil Off Road Driver Of The Year
  • 2017 Pro Lite World Champion
  • 2x Rick Huseman Award Winner
  • 19 Career Wins
  • 61 Podium Finishes

Ryan Beat Motorsports’ primary sponsor is Bilstein Shock Absorbers. Ryan assisted with Bilstein shock development in short course racing. Since then, the Bilstein shock package has become the top performer in the sport. Beat has had strong alliances with several other companies and played a role assisting with their research and development programs.

This has opened the door and offered Ryan a new and unique opportunity to construct and race the first of its kind PRO SPEC truck in the 2021 Championship Off-Road Series. Chevrolet Performance and the series official have designated LV1 Ecotech 4.3 liter with direct fuel injection as the specified power plant. Beat was tasked with designing and building a race ready benchmark prototype PRO SPEC truck with the goal to simply show everyone else how it could be done. Off Road Xtreme will dive deeper into the Championship Off-Road Series’ PRO SPEC Truck Class in the near future.

For now, we wanted to get to know Ryan Beat a little more, what he is most proud of, and see what is on tap for his 2021 program.

Off Road Xtreme Exclusive Interview With Ryan Beat:

Off Road Xtreme: What Does Your Team Look Like?
Ryan Beat: It started out with me, my Dad, and my Uncle. Now I have seven full time guys in the shop, and 15 total working at the races. It is a true team effort and everyone has a specified role. We could not do it without them.

ORX: What  Is New On The Horizon For Ryan Beat Motorsports?
RB: We have relocated to North Carolina and are building a new shop for our future home base. For this year, we are running the program out of Keith Stamper’s Shop in Wisconsin. Besides that, we are going to race in the 2021 Championship Off-Road Series.

ORX: What  Are Your Goals For 2021?
RB: We are going to campaign for wins and two championships in two classes [Pro 2 & Pro Spec]. We want to make it on the podium every time out, and put on the show for the fans while making our sponsors proud.

ORX: Who is supporting your race effort this year?
RB: I am proud to announce my partnership with Chevrolet and Toyo Tires as we debuted the 2021 Ryan Beat Motorsports livery. Bilstein has been a huge partner of mine. They went out on a limb to try and do something different with their shocks. They believed in my program and we have accomplished so many things since then. I am stoked to have Lucas Oil Products on board. They have been a major influencer in the sport for decades. After discontinuing the series, it’s an honor to have them still supporting me. I am thankful for their support over the years and the growth they have helped me achieve. I am also receiving additional support from Discount Tires, Vision Wheels, STEEL-IT Stainless Steel Coatings, and Magnaflow Exhaust.

ORX: What Do You Feel Like Biggest Accomplishments Are?
RB: The back-to-back Pro Lite Championships was a real dream realized that only came after years and years of hard work. I do not shrug it off at all, but the thing I am most proud of is who and what we have become off of our own merits. It is one thing to become a powerhouse by way of throwing all sorts of money at it. It is a whole other deal when we start out of the garage and grow this out of pure grit & determination. We had to demonstrate a successful track record first and then we were finally able to successfully attract funding & support.

ORX: Where Do You See Yourself And The Program At The End of 2022?
RB: I am aiming to build a Pro 4 in the near future. Besides that, we are already running a multi-car team. I am supporting drivers under my tent as a team owner, but I want to expand the program to become the biggest powerhouse in short course off-road racing. I am a believer of doing big things better. It is like the old saying; “If you are not growing, something is wrong.” We have not had that problem, and I do not intend to.
