SEMA 2013: Kicker Provides Tunes Without Compromising Classic Looks

IMG_1475One of the biggest dilemmas in the classic car hobby is balancing traditional aesthetics with modern creature comforts. Rod Authority got a chance to speak with Ron Burnett and John Myers of Kicker, a company that has specialized in performance audio components and upgrades since 1973.

IMG_1481The two products that we are spotlighting appeal to those who want to cruise, both, in style and up to date without having to sacrifice precious trunk space or compromise classy dashes with light shows from the more gaudy center control consoles that we’re used to seeing these days.

Ron and John laid it out pretty simple for Rod Authority and it made perfect sense, “These products appeal to the car guys that want to go on cruises and enjoy music. Often times it’s hard because audio parts can take up a lot of space and go against the look these folks are going for. Our products are seamless and can easily be tucked away in dashboards or conveniently under the seat.”

Check out these two amp and controller combos that offer the best in output, synch technology, and compactness.

The guys at Kicker demoed the power of their sound systems while showcasing the flush quality of their audio components in this Studebaker Champion.
