Saturday’s festivities at this year’s Mopars At The Strip event didn’t end at 5pm at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. No, instead of packing up and heading back to the hotel, hundreds of enthusiasts headed straight over The Cannery Casino & Hotel for the second half of the annual Moparty!

MATS arranged – as it has for nearly a decade – for two nights worth of entertainment at the nearby casino resort, kicking off Friday night with the outdoor event patio being filled with a selection of choice examples of Mopar iron to accompany the free concert put on by the “Saucy Jacks.”

Only three miles from the LVMS, The Cannery has been the hot spot for the annual MATS event. In fact, The Cannery pours so much gusto into sponsoring the Mopar crowd that special Mopar-themed food and drinks were on tap.

Reserved parking was made available for all Mopars to have a front-row parking spot and even special room rates were made available for those in attendance.

Of course, the big night was Saturday evening’s “wrap up party,” which offered even more food, fun and festivities with the “Hit Men All Stars” playing covers of Journey, Dire Straits, Night Ranger, Aerosmith and Boston.

We forewent the party for the most part and scurried off to the parking rows full of classics and late-model muscle cars. Check out the video below, and check out some of the coolest Mopars you might have missed!
