One thing we constantly discuss here at LSX Magazine is the fact that cars from the factory nowadays are just getting better and better. Case in point is the sixth-generation Camaro ZL1, for example. Out of the box, the ZL1 boasts an extremely healthy 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque from a 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8. Coupled with an optional ten-speed automatic transmission, the ZL1 completes its quarter-mile e.t. at an impressive 11.5-seconds at more than 125 mph.

Suffice it to say, the Camaro ZL1 from the factory is quite impressive; but what if someone wants to completely dominate the competition? Enter the Exorcist from Hennessy Performance. The Exorcist, which essentially doubles the insanity of the already crazy Camaro ZL1, makes for a contender against the current competitors of The Big Three.

It’s also why the Exorcist is constantly being compared to the Dodge Challenger Demon. On paper, these cars share a handful of similarities, but where the Exorcist differs from the Demon is that it’s a post-title car. Unlike the Demon, the Exorcist isn’t built on the premise of drag racing per se.
