Off-road drivers to some could be hailed as the top drivers in the world. Monster Energy recently took those drivers and pinned them against each other in a one-of-a-kind event with the Monster Energy Duels.

This custom course took drivers out of their element in a stunt style off-road race. The course had jumps, 360-degree donuts, and obstacles which challenged the drivers. Monster Energy drivers Jeremy McGrath, BJ Baldwin, Rodrigo Ampudia, Johnny Greaves, CJ Greaves, Casey Currie, Brian Deegan, and Hailie Deegan would be competing as well as Rockstar Energy drivers RJ Anderson and Ryan Beat.

“I’m excited to be racing the Duels,” said Casey Currie. “The new type of event will be great for our short course off-road trucks, and I’m ready to try something new and challenging. The course has many obstacles that we don’t do too often like a donut box, drifting on the pavement, and it also has big jumps that the trucks love.”

It was immediately apparent on which drivers felt at home doing this type of driving while others were lost. Heavy D and Diesel Dave were out there driving a truck like this for the first time. Surprisingly BJ Baldwin had never driven a truck like this until the morning of the races.

Altogether it was a great event and something that was done for the fans. The trucks are something in themselves and are amazing to watch on the pavement or the dirt.
