If you’re at all familiar with Carlex Design and you’ve seen the pictures or videos of the company’s work, then you know that they are top-notch interior craftsmen. When they do an interior, anything is possible. They don’t just wrap your steering wheel or console; they make new ones.
If you aren’t familiar with Carlex, it is all the way out in Poland, but the company is one of the best at what they do so if you are looking for a custom interior that will win every show you enter, it’s worth all of the costs involved.
With a little background in mind, this video shows the folks at Carlex doing a custom interior on a Mustang GT 5.0-liter convertible. It’s absolutely stunning to say the least. Although we don’t have exact pricing figures, it’s almost certain that the custom interior cost more than the car did brand new.
The video shows the way they handle the car at Carlex, they give this Mustang the white-glove treatment and roll it around on car dollies. Then it’s shown completely stripped down on the interior. It’s amazing how far down they took the car.
The embroidered Mustang on the seat is a nice, modest touch that adds a lot of character to the seats on this Mustang.
After that, the video shows the men and women at Carlex doing what they do best — stitching and molding the interior to the car. It’s really cool to get this window into the back-end of what a professional upholsterer does. With white leather, vented inserts, custom molded carbon fiber, and LED accents, this Mustang received the full Carlex treatment.
