We have all seen the commercial where slides into town in a Norelco electric razor head… right? Okay, for sure you’ve St. Nick flip the switch in his garage and spin from a beat-down sleigh to a powered-up Mercedes AMG. Well, we hope Santa packed an extra pair of underwear before nestling his red suit in the passenger seat of Ryan Tuerck’s much ballyhooed soon to be drift-hooned Ferrari V8-motivated Toyota 86.
Dubbed the GT4586, this car has been burning up cyber space at a dizzying rate and we can’t wait to see it in action… hopefully at the Formula Drift opener in Long Beach on March 31. Tuerck’s drift missile runs a flat-plane 4.5-liter V8 scavenged from a Ferrari Italia 458. The engine has a wicked TIG-welded custom header and forward facing exhaust system that’s truly art in motion.
In the video, produced by Donut Media and released on Santa’s favorite day, December, 25th, the #411 Gumout Performance Additives drift racer has been lit up, “deck the halls” style with Christmas lights, tinsel, and other ornamental accoutrements. With Tuerck in his Christmas pajamas and Santa in his holiday best, the duo let off some steam while burning rubber.
This sushi meets spaghetti combination sounds like it would taste terrible, but makes perfect sense in this Toyota/Ferrari context. Check out the ?list=PLFl907chpCa4i05imcpPKliRNHSyge83L”>build video playlist to see how we got here, and look for Tuerck and his wild ride at a drift event near you.
