Gibson Promises Over 15 Horsepower For Your New Raptor

Built lighter, more capable and more powerful than its predecessor, the 2017 F-150 Raptor generates 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque off the showroom floor. Those reading this will likely want even more power and a more aggressive sound from its 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine. That’s where Gibson Performance answers the call with its 2017 Ford Raptor F-150 3.5 Dual Exhaust system.

“For the off-road enthusiast who wants an awesome look and aggressive sound this 3.0-inch, dual-split cat-back exhaust is for you,” says the company. “Gibson Exhaust Systems decrease backpressure and produce more torque and increased horsepower.”

The dual-split system, which the company previewed at The SEMA Show, exits in 5-inch tips that are available in a black-ceramic (PN 69548-B) or stainless steel finishes (PN 69548). This system is a bolt-on replacement for the factory piping, so it requires no welding, and it carries a limited lifetime warranty.

“The MWA Venturi technology allows for the industry’s highest flow possible with minimal to no drone,” Gibson added. “Typical gains average of 15-20 horsepower.”

More power and no drone sounds like a great combo. For more on this system, check out the Gibson Performance website here.
