Herman Fleen is a 21 year old drifter from the small town of Mensal in Finland. After attending his first event, Gatebil, with friends, he got a glimpse of the amazing drift community, and fell in love with speed and the smell of burning tires. Herman worked 15 hour days doing construction, joined the army, and didn’t spend any money for a year and a half in hopes to save up for his dream– a full-on drift car. Soon after, he found this Lexus on the internet and never looked back. A classic love story.
Currently, his IS200 holds a 2.5-liter 1JZ straight out of a Toyota Supra and he claims it has “always ran perfect.” It is pushing over 500 wheel horsepower and roughly 442 pound-feet of torque (599nm, in non-freedom-units).
Herman participates in all sorts of drift events, but now that the yearly Finnish competition season is over, he plans to make some changes. He has hopes to upgrade to a 2JZ, throw on a BMW differential, a Rocketbunny kit, and of course, give it a new paint job.

Herman loves to drift, and his best friend, Otto Nyholm, loves videography– so, what do you get when you put the two together? A drift video of course. These two completely took over Herman’s dad’s friend’s scrapyard for two days and threw out over 10 tires just to compile this awesome little three and a half minute Gymkhana-style clip.
His goal for this video was to gather as many fans as possible to follow him through his future endeavors, and ultimately help him reach his newest goal– to compete in Formula Drift.
