Yamaha took the UTV world by storm last year with the announcement of the YXZ1000, but coming June 8th they look to change it once again. It the teaser video not much is let out of the bag, but it is enough to surely get us thinking.

No clutch pedal? Did they forget to install it or is it something new? We find out June 8th.

Could it be a new power plant or a new look? Time will tell and it really gets us going. One tease that may have been on purpose in the video is the angle of the driver and having his feet show.

We did not notice it the first time we watched the article, but a couple more times we started to look between the feet. The clutch pedal is now gone, or maybe they forgot to install it. We hope that they removed it and are going towards more of a dual clutch with paddle shifters.

The gauges on the new vehicle still have a gear location so it does not look like they will head towards an automatic option, even though it could be. Yamaha has been looking to do something different the other manufacture have been since the release of the YXZ1000 last year so it would not surprise us they do something unique again.
