The Mustang is arguably the most modified car in the world. Mustang owners tend to be unique, and most of us will perform some level of modification to our cars from mild to wild. With the popularity of the S550 Mustang platform not slowing down any time soon the aftermarket is working feverishly to develop new parts.

One of the companies with parts already on the shelf is Hooker, with its BlackHeart exhaust products. With everything a Mustang owner could want from basic axle-back systems, to complete exhaust solutions including headers, the BlackHeart line has it all.

To celebrate the BlackHeart product line’s launch into the S550 Mustang market, Hooker is going to give one lucky fan a modified 2015 Mustang GT. This Performance Package equipped Mustang GT will come with a complete Hooker BlackHeart stainless steel exhaust system, including 1 3/4-inch long tube headers, matching X-pipe, and stainless steel 3-inch axle-back.

Breathing out is great, but an engine needs to be able to breathe in too, even more so when you’ve done a major exhaust upgrade like adding the complete BlackHeart system. So Hooker is also adding an Airaid cold air intake system to the car. A DiabloSport T1000 Trinity tuner will keep all the computer parameters in check. NOS is also developing a 5.0 specific kit that will be made available to the winner, should they choose to install it.

The car’s stance and handling has been improved thanks to a set of Eibach springs. The stock shifter, though better than any previous year Mustang GT, still leaves a lot to be desired in the S550 Mustangs. A new Race Spec shifter from MGW Shifters will help the Hooker BlackHeart Mustang’s new owner make sure every shift connects on time. The car has been thoroughly test driven and rechecked for quality control by members of the Holley Performance staff, the parent company of Hooker.
