Earlier this week, Donut Media published a video starring two grannies, Audrey and Peggy, and a widebody Lamborghini Murciélago driving all around Santa Monica running errands.

Peggy started up the 650 hp Liberty Walk-kitted Murciélago, which purs like a kitten according to Audrey, and they were on their way, or so they thought. With no tangible shift lever, only paddles, Peggy put the car in first gear in the driveway and inched forward toward the garage door, which almost immediately gave us an aneurysm.

Once the ladies get out on the streets of Santa Monica, it’s smooth sailing, with both of them waving to pedestrians and attracting a lot of attention. Of course the car attracts a lot of attention, but with two grannies cruising it around town, they were bound to get some befuddled looks back their way. They even passed a Gallardo Spyder and broke the guy’s neck in the process.

Another nerve-racking part of the video was when they pulled into a parking space at the local grocery store. Peggy pulled in completely crooked, then proceeded to back the car up and straighten it out, inching ever so slowly toward a bumper-munching parking curb. We’re glad to say no bumpers were munched, though!

After coming out of the grocery store, Peggy and Audrey were the most confused they’ve been all day when it came time to store the groceries in the car’s frunk. At first, she checked the engine bay, only to find that the horses were back there, then migrated to the front where she couldn’t find the “hooky-doo” at first.

As they were about to leave, an older man walks up inquiring about the car, making jokes about if there’s room for him. Being the good friend she is, Peggy tells Audrey to go chat him up, and we pretty much died of laughter right after that. Peggy and Audrey are great sports, though, and it seems like they really enjoyed their day with the Murciélago; we know we would!
