While we have our fair share of imports and foreign cars here in the United States, it doesn’t seem to even come close to the affect that American musclecars have on our friends overseas in European countries. We’ve seen a huge musclecar culture in countries like Finland, but this time we get to see and hear a beautiful 1969 Camaro from Kult Cars in Germany.

As we watch the ” target=”_blank”>video above, we see not just a great example of the ’69 Camaro, but one that looks like all the time and effort was spent on making it look very much like it did when it rolled off the showroom floor some 45+ years ago. With a couple of exceptions, like the go-fast goodies under the hood, the  SS396 beast looks like it’s built to drive and have loads of fun with.

With a slightly different front end than the RS SS 396 (with hideaway headlights), there were roughly 5,000 SS 396 Camaros built for 1969, with production running a couple of months longer than normal through November. This entry from Kult Cars shows us that even over in Germany we can find some great classics that weren’t all cut up and modified.

Sporting such items as an Edelbrock intake to add a little more performance from the big-block, the car looks otherwise stock, and we see that the owner isn’t afraid to lay down some rubber and spin the BF Goodrich Radial TA tires.
