Everyone may not live near an area where it is possible to test out the new suspension on an off-road vehicle. This company took a completely different approach on testing suspension.
All off-road vehicles over the course of their lifetime will get a new suspension at least once if not more. Most race teams and do-it-yourselfers will take the vehicle out to the desert, trails, or rocks to test, not this company.
This company decided to take their buggy and lift it 15 feet in the air to drop it on the hard concrete below. This probably has to be the most peculiar suspension test we have ever seen.
We see abuse on the trail all the time, but someone purposely dropping something is new to us. The buggy’s 26-inches of wheel travel soaked up the blow with ease.
With FOX coilovers and bypass shocks the blow from being dropped was dampened. It is also obvious that the tires took a lot of the force as the wheels came inches from the ground upon landing.
We were able to find a video also of the buggy in action. It was clear after watching the video why the company tested the buggy the way they did.
The buggy is hitting jumps and soaring in the air coming down at heights that seem higher than the testing. The off-road buggy soaks up the landings just as it did during testing.
It has no issue taking off and catching air off any hill it drives up. This is definitely one purpose built buggy that can handle anything thrown at it, and more.
Where would you take this buggy? To the trail or find some monster jumps?Tell us in the comments below!
