Dubbed The Little Integra That Could, you won’t be disappointed with this tiny monster’s performance. Posed on ” target=”_blank”>1320, check out this third-generation Acura Integra, which eats up its competition with speed and aggression.
With a hefty turbocharger tacked on and the aerodynamics of a dragsters, this low and mean Integra is not messing around on the drag whatsoever. Myles, the driver of the Integra is quite confident in the Integra’s vast power capabilities.
The Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack is a 1/2-mile airstrip, and a proving ground for those who tout to be the fastest in the land. What surprised us was Myles’ Integra hitting the 190mph plateau twice during this event.
Even Myles was surprised, hoping to stay at that speed and maybe push out a little more. In its first match, the 900hp Integra was pitted against a Corvette ZR-1. The Corvette didn’t stand a chance as the Integra made the Corvette look like a snail.
The Integra’s second opponent was a 550hp fifth-generation Honda Civic hatchback. The Civic got a rolling head start, but that didn’t matter for the Integra. When the Integra’s boost kicked in, the Civic was simply left in the dust. Surprisingly, Myles’ Integra only reached 186mph that run, which is still fast by any means.
The third match lined up against a 1,000hp Integra. Looking to give Myles’ Integra a ru n for its money, he was on game for this run. With a rolling start, both Integras revved fiercely. But as they crossed the starting line, it was Myles’ Integra that pulled away as he had an exceptional start.
“It’s finally nice to have someone right there in these events,” he said. Call it cockiness, but Myles has every right to brag as he drives one insanely fast Acura Integra.
But for every goliath, Myles’ Integra was grounded shortly after. In a race against a 1,500hp Lamborghini, the Integra was eaten alive. We’re not surprised as the Integra’s turbocharged and larger engine counterpart made him look like he was crawling across the strip.
Nonetheless, we applaud Myles’ Integra and its shear speed it dishes out on the drag strip. What do you think of this Integra? Would you settle for more cylinders and a bigger turbo? Feel free to share your thoughts below.
