No matter where you are in the world, classic American muscle cars always attract attention. When they’re as rare as this beautiful 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona with a 604ci Hemi engine, even in the U.S.A. it would turn heads. What makes this car even more interesting is that it’s at a car show in Finland.

One of the things Europeans love about America is our muscle cars. In a country known mainly for saunas, architecture, and skiing, and where European exotics are a daily sight, a car such as this metallic maroon Charger is a real jaw-dropper. Check out all the envious looks it gets in the video!

We’re spoiled here in America with all our car websites, car shows and auctions on TV, car shows in our local communities, auto shows in our big cities, and countless drive-ins, streets, boulevards, and highways perfect for cruising; so seeing (and hearing) cool muscle cars is not unusual.

We’ve made millions of muscle cars, and every day more and more of them get resurrected and returned to the road. However, not many of them made it overseas, and even fewer look as good as this tasty sweet Charger Daytona.

So it’s nice to see that the passion for American muscle is alive and well in places other than home, sweet home. It’s a mark of patriotic pride to know that the Finnish owner of this Charger probably spent as much or more than the cost of a European exotic in order to own a slice of pure American pie.

It also shows that just like rock music and denim jeans, this is one bit of Americana that’s never going out of style. Classic muscle cars will always be cool, no matter what country they’re in!
