It’s not everyday someone wakes up and says to themselves “Yep, today’s the day I’m going to beat my current Guinness World Record for the fastest mile time driven on two wheels.” For Terry Grant, this is something he considers doing very often.
Terry is an international stunt driver with over 19 Guinness World Records, dating all the way back into November 2004. According to Terry’s website – “In July 2011 Terry drove a Nissan Juke on two wheels up the famous hill climb course at Goodwood during the Festival Of Speed. The record, set in front of 50,000 spectators and TV cameras, was the fastest time anyone had driven on two wheels over a mile.”
Can you imagine how it must feel to balance two wheels in a corner, while being timed?
That fastest time in 2011 was recorded at 2 mins 55 secs, which was shattered over the weekend by Terry himself at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Keeping things nostalgic, Terry of course used another Nissan Juke, this time an RS Nismo version, which allowed him to finish the two wheels mile in an astonishing 2 mins 10 secs.
“Terry smashed the record at the 2015 Goodwood Festival Of Speed by balancing his Nissan Juke RS Nismo on two wheels up the famous Goodwood hillclimb four years after setting the record at this event in 2011, and he did it on his first attempt too!”

Who else thought during the video there were a few sketchy moments where you thought it was going over?
