Street racing has been around since the moment competitive people got behind the wheel of a car, and racing on a surface with little to no prep down shows who knows how to get the most out of their car in any situation.

BoostedGT from Street Outlaws and the infamous LSX Willys Jeep are two of the toughest customers on the street, and at the Small Town Weekend Street Drags these two titans locked in a race and lined up to see who was quicker from a dig.

Each of these racers keep their exact combination very close to the vest, because in the high-stakes world of racing they live in, every advantage you can have counts. Rumor has it the BoostedGT is motivated by a 347-inch Ford powerplant with a nicely sized turbo in front. The LSX Willys has a nasty LSX engine under it’s hood with dual power adders in the form of a D1C ProCharger and a rather large sized hit of giggle juice from a Nitrous Express kit.

Racing on a street from a dig with little to no prep is a tall task, but both of these racing camps have a lot of experience doing it. After the burnouts both cars get lined up for the arm drop but the LSX Willys tried to get a little bit of a jump on Boosted. It’s unknown if that lead was part of the stipulations of the race, but it doesn’t matter, as Boosted roars to life and motors away from the Willys.
