The Goodwood Festival of Speed celebrates the very best from the past and present of motoring and motorsport. Held on the vast Goodwood Estate in Chichester, West Sussex, England, ‘Flat-out and Fearless’ is the theme for 2015 and typifies some of the most spectacular drivers and moments from motorsport’s past and present.
BJ Baldwin will be bringing his 800 hp Monster Energy Trophy Truck to the event so the international crowd can experience North American off-road racing. Accustomed to vintage cars, Formula One racers and rally cars, Baldwin’s big, loud, body-leaning, 40-inch-tire-squealing Trophy Truck will be a big departure from the norm. They will also be able to witness Baldwin’s incredible truck handling skills.
This won’t be the first trip to Europe for Baldwin. He competed in the Central Europe Rally in 2008 and returned for the Baja Power Days 300 event in Lausitz, Germany in 2009.The Baja Power days featured Baldwin and other well-known desert racing stars from the SCORE International series competing against rally racing stars on separate tracks. The rally cars had a track suited to their cars, while the American Trophy Truck racers had a track that displayed their abilities to fly through the air and soak up huge bumps.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed will allow Baldwin to cut loose and have some fun while entertaining the fans. Wouldn’t you like to be making the journey to the English estate for some jolly good fun too?

The bearded Baldwin typifies what Will Farrell described in the Hollywood movie “Ricky Bobby” as a big hairy American winning machine.
