Usually for every type of car, there is a day to celebrate the beloved make and model by adoring and sometimes drooling enthusiasts from all over. Recently in Fontana Village, North Carolina, the famed Nissan Z was celebrated by a very large gathering of enthusiasts who love the two-door sports at an event called ZDayZ 2015.
The Nissan Z has a very rich motorsports history and remains one of Nissan’s best selling sports car to date. The cars lineage is currently in the 370Z model and stretches all the way back to the 240Z in 1970 and beyond. Each different generation has brought something special to the public as these cars have always made capable daily drivers, weekend warriors, or even a dedicated track cars. While the enthusiast community showed up in force, there was also another “Force” present at the event, former Formula Drift Champion, Chris “The Force” Forsberg, was in attendance with three of his famous vehicles. Forsberg brought along his Datsun 280Z which features a modified RB25DET engine out of a Skyline, his four-door Infiniti M56 powered by a 5.6 liter V8 cranking out about 600 horsepower, and of course his championship winning 1,000 horsepower Nissan 370Z.
