Let’s take it back to a year ago with this video of Vaughn Gittin Jr. telling us what motivates him. Like many enthusiasts, it all started with dad. Vaughn Gittin Jr. used to ask his father to do burnouts, power slides, donuts, or anything that would turn any little kid into a gearhead. Thanks to Ford Racing Performance, we have this video by one of Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s sponsors, Nitto Tire, on what motivates him to keep on keepin’ on.

“That’s what inspired me to dump the clutch for the first time,” Vaughn says, “I vividly remember the first time I was behind the wheel and broke the tires loose.”For Vaughn, he fell in love with a sport where he could show his “style and personality from behind the wheel.” Like anyone, he wants to be the best he can be, perfect it, and live it everyday.

Fast forward 11-12 years later and Vaughn has picked up quite a few sponsors and made a big name for himself with some of the biggest car companies out there. Vaughn turned something he absolutely loved into something insane, and now he’s a household name
