Dubbed the MADBUL, Whiddett’s RX-7 screams through the course with reckless abandonment. He gets the car sideways with such ease, we wonder where are Daijiro Yoshihara or Ken Block to make it a tandem?
The course at the Leadfoot Festival looks to be quite tight and full of hairpin turns. Whippet’s speed through the course is remarkable, utilizing extraordinary throttle and hand brake control.
The 2015 Leadfoot Festival was full of thrills, bringing together a mix of vintage motorcycles, classic cars, and motorsports legends. With limited tickets available, it is a private event held by racing competitor Rod Millen.
Automobiles ranging from classic formula and road race cars to off-road machines and motorcycles, the Leadfoot Festival every year attracts drivers, riders and race cars reminiscent of many eras in a wonderful display of speed, style, and sound.
