Since the introduction of professional drifting to the U.S. in the 1990s there has been a growing number of professional competitors as well as grassroots enthusiasts hanging it all out on tracks across the country. Some of the big names in the U.S. drift circuit include Chris Forsberg, Ryan Tuerck, and Vaughn Gittin Jr. who compete in the Formula Drift series.

With the ever growing popularity of drifting in the U.S. social media has been a great way to keep the sport growing. In the spirit of social Chris Forsberg and Ryan Tuerck paired up with popular YouTube channel Network A. They began a series last year called Drift Garage where they go through a step by step on the in and outs of drifting from building the cars to driving them.

The first season they covered how to build a drift missile on a $5,000 budget. This dynamic duo started off the first episode by tearing down a brand new Nissan 370Z to prepare it for a twin turbo kit produced by Fast Intentions. Ryan Tuerck is also dismantling his well used 240SX drift machine which has definitely been thrashed from hitting other cars, walls and tire barriers for filming and other hoonigan antics.

If you have not seen the first season on Network A on YouTube, hurry up and get caught up. Who knows what they have in store for Season 2? Also, Network A has a series called Tuerck’d that gives you an inside look on Ryan’s life while he is not behind the wheel competing.
