Writing about The Red Demon recently, we have to break another video for all of you to see. The 1,200-horsepower, all-wheel-drive Talon is a killer on the drag strip, racing against a nitrous-powered Fox body Mustang.
Posted on ” target=”_blank”>1320, The Red Demon had a terrible launch and looked to be blown away by the Mustang. However, the Talon’s demonic power kicked into high gear as it showed it muscle on the top end.
Taking place at the King of the Streets, cars go toe-to-toe, boasting massive power and traction. The King of the Streets drag racing series is held at various locations, with none of the events failing to disappoint.
You can hear the turbo screaming as the Boostin Performance Diamond Star blows past the finish line with incredible speed. The Mustang had an excellent start; it just got devoured at the tail end of the drag strip.
Yep, the Mustang looked to have The Red Demon dead to rights, but the huge turbo spooling in the headlight space provided some serious boost. It is truly a huge upset as it was a four-cylinder engine versus an eight-cylinder engine.
Never underestimate your opponent as they say. We wonder what else this Talon is capable of. A true triumph for the tuner enthusiast, we sure newcomers won’t look at Eagle Talons or Mitsubishi Eclipses the same way again.
