To some people, Christmas decorating before Thanksgiving is a must. To some, it’s weird, so they wait until after Thanksgiving. There are those that wait until Christmas Eve to put them up,
and there are those that leave their decorations up year round, which is pretty boring. There are tons of ways to execute the process of putting up a tree, but there is never a wrong time for showing that holiday spirit.
To some, the holiday season is best with egg nog, a lit fireplace, warm lights, and decorations, but only a majority of places around the world get the luxury of a white Christmas. That limits a lot of things like snowboarding, skiing, making snow angels, sledding, etc.
For Faction Motorsports, a performance retailer based out of New Jersey, it is important that they put their own little twist on the Christmas spirit. New Jersey does get snow, and there are times that it doesn’t, but these guys still manage to obtain a Christmas tree from the lot while keeping it a white Christmas.
In the video, the crew goes shopping for Christmas trees and then tie them up on the roofs of their drift machines, one S13 coupe with a Silvia front end and an S13 fastback with pop-up headlights.
After securing the trees to the roof, off they go, sledding in a tandem fashion to deliver their own white Christmas, in tire smoke.
Unfortunately, they got stopped by the police for hooning around. Luckily for the two drifters, the officer realized there were no bad intentions, hooning around with a Christmas trees on their roofs, and was nice enough to just let them off with a slap on the wrist. In the end, the Faction Motorsports crew got to go home and enjoy their fresh Christmas trees. Check out the video for some holiday cheer. It sure got us revving our engines for the holidays!
