Funco Motorsports is well known in the industry for their production of high quality sand cars over the past few decades – produced from 1967 to be exact. With a whole lineup of sand cars to fit everybody’s sand driving style.

Now Funco released a video of its newest creation, this GoPro-themed buggy that you see here chomping down hard at Glamis Sand Dunes, of course driven by California professionals. Meet Funco’s newest creation, the “GTQ.”

After some more digging on this bad boy, we found out that this particular GTQ means business sporting a Whipple supercharger sitting atop a 440 LS7 V8 engine. This crazy sand buggy is good for an incredible 850 hp. So, who is ready to have over 800 horses ready to play inside a gigantic sandbox?

Another interesting tidbit of info on this GTQ is that it features rear shocks partially hidden by body panels. This new buggy looks aggressive down to its paint job and sounds amazing. Seriously though, crank up the speakers for this video and listen to the screaming exhaust note combined with some good tunes!

Of course, as the video states, don’t try this at home. What you see here has been attempted on a closed course by California professionals.
