In a galaxy far far away, it looks as if the Empire and the Rebels have sheathed their lightsabers, landed their X-Wings and TIE Fighters and ceased fire. They plan to settle their deadly conflict once and for all with a drag race.

Chewbacca, the famed Wookie pilot of the Millennium Falcon will take on the Sith Lord himself, Darth Vader, in a straight 1320 on an Endor back road. Chewie is behind the wheel of a hot rodded 4th Gen Camaro so fast that it made the Run in Twelve Parsecs. Darth Vader a is behind the wheel of a C6 Corvette. As you may know Vader has been hot rodding since he was 10 years old, building his own custom Pod Racer, and 20 years later a custom TIE Fighter, so you know his Vette means business.

The race began like a normal drag with both machines launching hard and galloping towards the finish. As they hustled down the back road, Vader uses the forced to damage Chewie’s Camaro, allowing Vader to win and destroying Chewie’s chances of ever winning a medal. Things look bleak for the rebels as Vader used to force and his Pod Racing skills to secure a victory.

While this video may seem like a crazy Kevin Smith Star Wars fantasy (we imagine his fantasy would be Jedi playing hockey), in reality this race was a little bit of fun from HP Motorsports. HP will be opening their shop on October 4th and wanted to do a wild promo.

Based out of Katy, Texas, HP will not only specialize in hopping up performance for the domestic Big 3 but high end imports such as Lambo, Ferrari and Audi as well. Instead of making a typical press release, HP channeled their inner nerd and had a little fun in promoting their new shop.
