Junkyard Oldsmobile Alero Becomes 23′ Transformer Neighborhood Watch

Now protecting the inhabitants of Wisconsin, is another soldier in the fight for everlasting peace against the Decepticons. Through the hands of George Edgren, the essence of Primus has delivered the spark and given life to a 23 foot Oldsmobile Alero Transformer.

With the recent release of Transformers 4, the Autobot now resides on Archer Lane standing guard over the Edgren household. Recently, through a friends suggestion, the artist took on the challenge to build this unique and eye catching masterpiece. Not your normal build project, Edgren was quoted saying, “this type of work was not really his fancy”.

Nonetheless, three weeks later in this Wisconsin driveway was an old junkyard Alero, and some angle iron. Shortly thereafter, the work began to disassemble his new project ride and begin the build. This build, not intended for street or track use, was now spread across the lawn in pieces.

Rising from the ground up to the sky this still unnamed transformer took shape. With a few bolt-ins, the Autobot was secured in place and is now standing tall, keeping a watchful eye over the land.

Sparking interest in Transformer fans, many curious spectators are stopping by to take a peek at this unique creation that has landed on planet Earth. Edgren shared that he might be interested in the resale of this project build.

With a few performance upgrades and a good dyno we think this Autobot just might make a good buy for the car nut on the planet Cybertron. However, on planet Earth we think the locals here still prefer the comfort of a seat, a bangin’ exhaust and maybe a good set of wheels.

One does wonder though, what might this go for on Ebay on the planet Cybertron. Bidding could get ugly amongst the locals. What car do you think would make a good Transformer, now that Bumble Bee has been recalled?

Growing up in Greenwood, Indiana a short distance from the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, my dad would take me to local car shows and events. Through this I gained my passion. Along with cars, I have always loved photography, writing, and graphic arts. However when attending college I did not pursue my passions. I played it safe and majored in business and marketing. After a few years in this field I determined this was not for me and began to pursue a writing and photography career. Landing me here with Power Automedia. I am also now the business owner of Bridgett's Toxic Creations. Specializing in automobile showboards, custom license plates, logos, and website headers. Living and breathing the Mustang life everyday in everyway. To be able to work in my field of passion is amazing and fun experience everyday. The best part is sharing a common passion with others.
